CHRPC Visits Warri Port, Urges FG to Ensure Full Benefit for Deltan's especially Warri and Environ A non-governmental human rights organization, Center for Human Rights and Public Complain, CHRPC visited the Warri Port. There is increased commercial activities that are not having direct impact on the oil city of Warri. The federal government should ensure that Deltan's benefit from job opportunities. The Federal government should also ensure full operations and ensure that cargo ship's and vessels can access the port. Deltan's especially Warri people and those around its environ should benefit from the functionality of the Port.

Human rights activist, Comr. Steven Luke has lashed out at the people of Delta south, mockingly congratulating them for producing and supporting aged representatives Sen. James Manager and Hon. Leo Ogor. In a statement, said "Congratulations to Delta south, Isoko and Ijaw for breaking the Guinness book of record for producing the oldest and long serving senator James manager and house of representatives member Hon Leo Ogor in the Nigeria history of politics."
