I supported Barr Evelyn Omavowan Oboro against Obaisi Ovie Omo Agege (He was then my enemy). He won and then became Deputy President of the Senate. Instead of making enemies and build walls he began to reachout and mend fences. Like it or not HE HAS PERFORMED admirably for the People of Delta Central. Now my Party the People Democratic Party ( PDP) must raise the stakes as whoever that will take over from Omo Agege CANNOT do less. All of our leaders contesting for Senate must bring in fresh faces, young intelligent and Influencial leaders into their campaigns. Running campaigns recycling persons whose understanding of today's world is best for yesterday is a sure disaster waiting to happen. I respect Omo Agege because he surrounded himself with young intelligent men who were drivers of his representation, they were not confined to be media boys who report only what some recycled persons were doing. Ebrumede Police Division, Delta State Command on extortion of one Francis Akpovofene of the sum of 50,000 a call for refund A police officer in Ebrumede Division, Delta State has extorted the sum of 50,000 fifty thousand naira from one Mr. Francis Akpovofene, a resident of Jedo Community Within Warri environ in Delta state. The incident took place on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Ebrumede police station, Delta state command. The police alleged that the suspects,  Francis Akpovofene was arrested on the offence of being a Yahoo boy driving in an exotic car with expired drivers licence. Upon his arrest in Warri, the police wrote a statement and compelled him to sigh before he was taken to the DPO.   With much pleading the Dpo resolved that the young man should pay the sum of 50,000.
