Chief Edwin Clark, a prominent figure in Nigerian politics and a respected elder statesman, passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of leadership and mentorship. His contributions to the nation and his unwavering support for those around him have been widely acknowledged. I introduce to you MR MATTHEW EDEVBIE, an Urhobo man from Ughelli North who is by any chance want to intimidate anyone from the Isoko extraction that dare talk about the abandon 132KVA step-down power project sited in Ozoro.  To my dear Isoko people, are we going to allow this man to continue to put the entire Isoko Nation in total blackout and absolute darkness now going forward, or do we want to have the project complete and commission?  Now! We are an ethnic group. It is time to sit up and stand tall. An Open Petition to the Delta State Police Command: Requesting for Action Against Ekurede Urhobo Community Chairman, the Provost, and two others over Trespass, Torture, Attempted Kidnapping Murder  15/02/ 2025 Dear Sir, We, the Organization for Human and Peoples Rights Protection and Humanitarian do write to formally notify the Delta State Police Command regarding a grave incident that occurred on Saturday, 15th February 2025. This incident involved a violent attack on a worker at a local medical facility, which we believe constitutes attempted trespass and attempted murder of one Mr. Emmanuel. On the aforementioned date, a group of youths from the Ekurede community, led by the Chairman and the Provost, stormed the medical facility where Mr. Emanuel was performing essential internal maintenance work and tortured him till he fainted.
