ASSAULT, DEGRADATION OF THE HUMAN PERSON AND THREAT TO LIFE BY IGHO BERNARD OBORO.


A young man by the name of Igho Bernard Oboro (AKA Wambilo) who claims to be a staff of the INDEPENDENT CORRUPT PRACTICES COMMISSION ( ICPC )has assaulted another person again.

Igho Bernard Oboro(AKA Wambilo) who is notorious for regularly assaulting people in Effurun, is said to be the brother of Hon. Evelyn Oboro. Wambilo has been in the habit of posing under the guise of his sister's stance and also as a staff of the ICPC to violently harrass , molest, assault , maim , wreck havocs and threaten the lives of  innocent law abiding citizens under any slight provocation.

Two of Wambilo's recent victims are a food seller(mama put) popularly known as Madam Owho in Okoribi area of Effurun Uwvie LGA Delta State. And a bike man whom Wambilo assaulted by beating him blue black and damaging one of the bike man's  eyes , at Alegbo junction in Effurun - Uvwie and causing a serious scene there.

The current victim of Igho Bernard Oboro(AKA Wambilo) is a Human Rights Activist by the of Ufuoma Akugha . Wambilo was said to have brutally attacked and assaulted Ufuoma Akugha on the 29th of August 2024 as at 8pm around Uti street, just because of mere arguement. Wambilo also threatened Ufuoma's life with broken bottle that he(Wambilo)will kill him(Ufuoma) and nothing will happen. Wambilo was said to have also followed Ufuoma Akugha to his house to cause a serious scene there. Shaking the gate of Ufuoma's compound and prompting him to come out that he will kill him and nothing will happen.

We are calling on the relevant authorities to investigate this matter and bring Igho Bernard Oboro (AKA Wambilo) to justice. Also , we are calling on the ICPC authorities to investigate Igho Bernard Oboro if he is really a staff of the ICPC as he claims. We doubt Wambilo's claims as a staff of ICPC cos his character portrays him as a tout and not responsible enough to be a staff of a reputable government parastatal like the ICPC.

Then If he is really a staff of the ICPC, We also call on the ICPC authorities to investigate and prosecute Wambilo in accordance to their code of conduct and rules of engagement.

Our Human Rights Organisation will stop at nothing to see to it that the culprit is brought to book in the shortest possible time in order to curtail the excesses of Igho Bernard Oboro( AKA Wambilo) and the likes.

The late Pa Joseph Obruch Umukoro Omeka, AKA Mighty Sparrow, will be laid to rest in his hometown of Enwhe, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State on Saturday, August 10th 2024. According to a statement released by the son Comrade Steven Luke, AkA No Jobman for Governor, the proceedings will commence with service of song at his resident in Ugbolokposo town in Uvwie local government area on Thursday, August 8th, 2024, at 4 pm. The burial ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 10th, 2024, starting with the Liturgy of the Word by Apostle Emmanuel Inonoje, followed by the internment and entertainment of guests at his hometown Enwhe in Isoko South local government area.
