Chief Daniel Omoyibo, AKA DANMOTECH: If You Can Mobilize Such a Crowd for APC 5/5 in Oleh, What Is Stopping You from Mobilizing for Isoko’s Need for Light?

The Convener of No Jobman for Governor 2023, Comrade Steven Luke, has criticized Chief Daniel Omoyibo, popularly known as DANMOTECH, over his reported mobilisation of a large crowd in Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area, in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Senator Joel-Onowakpor ahead of the 2027 general elections. Reports of the mobilisation and endorsement were published following Senator Joel-Onowakpor’s visit to Oleh.
Comrade Steven Luke questioned why such enormous influence and mobilisation capacity could not be equally directed towards advocating for a lasting solution to the persistent electricity challenges confronting Isoko Nation.

According to him, if Chief Daniel Omoyibo can mobilise such a large number of Isoko people from their respective homes to support the APC’s political agenda, he should also be able to mobilise the same people and political stakeholders to demand improved and reliable electricity supply across Isokoland.

Isoko Nation needs light. If such influence can bring thousands of our people together for political mobilisation, that same influence should be used to demand sustainable electricity for our communities. Our people need electricity to run their businesses, support economic activities and improve their standard of living,” Comrade Steven Luke stated.
He further questioned the priorities of political mobilisation in a region that has continued to face serious electricity challenges. This concern comes amid ongoing public pressure over power supply in Isoko and announced government interventions aimed at rehabilitating electricity infrastructure in parts of the area.

Comrade Steven Luke argued that political leaders and influential individuals in Isoko should place the welfare and development needs of the people at the centre of their political activities.

He said that Isoko is blessed with significant natural resources and human capital, yet many communities continue to struggle with inadequate electricity supply.
Luke therefore challenged Chief Daniel Omoyibo to use his influence not only for political mobilisation but also to advocate strongly for the completion of critical electricity projects and a sustainable solution to the power challenges facing Isoko Nation.

Let us use the strength of our people for something that will benefit generations to come. Isoko needs light, development, good healthcare, quality education and economic opportunities. Political mobilisation should also translate into genuine advocacy for the needs of our people.

Pedro, over the construction of classrooms and fencing at Okpolo Enwhe Primary School in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
