Since the former governor of Delta State cheif James Ibori left office in 2006 the city of warri and Effurun have not feel the effects of Christmas decorations in the rich oil city if not for the Redeem christian church of God in warri that always decorate the city for us to know that Christmas is here again. Human rights activist with the Center for Human Rights and Public complaints, CHRPC, Comrade Ezekiel Kagbala  has called on local government Chairmen in Delta state so support the Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, in the area of providing a cleaner and aesthetic environment in the state. Speaking with newsmen on Monday in Asaba, the Activist noted that Delta state could be cleaner if local government Chairmen takes environmental sanitary seriously. Fayose reveals why Buhari failed to honour Reps’ summon

  Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, on Thursday, described President Muhammadu Buhari’s refusal to honour its invitation as an act of dictatorship. The House of Reps had summoned President Muhammadu Buhari over the growing insecurity in Nigeria. The Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila had confirmed that Buhari  was willing to appear before the House,  adding that a date had been agreed and will be made public soon. But Malami in a statement earlier in the week said the House  lacks the powers to summon the President  to interface with it on the rising insecurity, adding that it was “outside constitutional bounds”. Reacting , Fayose on his Twitter page said Buhari will not honour the summons on insecurity because he does not regard other arms of government.
