IYC EXECUTIVES SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM POLITICIANS

Any IYC present executives that is romancing political parties should resign and join their interested political party and allow IYC to focus on the mandate of self determination and Resources control. 

I am observing some present IYC executives doing different things against the general will of Ijaw Nation. 

Let us be careful with our actions as an present IYC executives. The zones, Chapters and National were elected to protect the general interests of Ijaw people. 

Therefore, let us constructively engage ourselves to issues affecting the general interests of Ijaw Nation. 

No Governor has the monopoly of power to stopped any peaceful and reasonable protest in the Niger Delta region. 

Niger Delta Governors should be concensciously responsible to perform their duties and responsibilities as a Governor in their respective states. 

Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC belong to all Niger Delta people. But, when things went wrong in those agencies IYC have the capacity to speak against abnormalities in the system simply because, Ijaw blood and sweat led to the creation of the NDDC. As well as others Niger Delta Ethnic also have right to agitate for what they think is best for them. 

If others Niger Delta Ethnic groups remain mute on the abnormalities in NDDC, that doesn't stop Ijaw Youth council IYC to engage them constructively. 

We will not tolerate any forms of abnormalities and Injustice against our people.

The late Pa Joseph Obruch Umukoro Omeka, AKA Mighty Sparrow, will be laid to rest in his hometown of Enwhe, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State on Saturday, August 10th 2024. According to a statement released by the son Comrade Steven Luke, AkA No Jobman for Governor, the proceedings will commence with service of song at his resident in Ugbolokposo town in Uvwie local government area on Thursday, August 8th, 2024, at 4 pm. The burial ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 10th, 2024, starting with the Liturgy of the Word by Apostle Emmanuel Inonoje, followed by the internment and entertainment of guests at his hometown Enwhe in Isoko South local government area.
