Nigerian Lawyer Dodo on 30-Billion Scandal of Delta Vote Bribe Money

Damian Dodo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, has come under fire from Deltans as the controversial lawyer who allegedly received an N30-Billion Naira Vote bribe for Judges, from the People's Democratic Party PDP cabals in Delta State Government.

The 30 Billion Billion was apportioned for Dodo to bribe Judges on behalf of Governor Okowa's stooge Sheriff Oborevwori to buy the three arms of the Judiciary.

This, however, triggered negative reactions, with many laying curses on Dodo for accepting such a bribe and further impoverishing the already wounded State economically.

An anti-corruption group, Delta Transparency Watch however, called on Nigeria's Anti-graft agencies as well as legal professional bodies to look into Dodo's records of dubious dealings including this most recent case which is now been exposed for its role in acting as a conduit for bribes and other illicit businesses.

Damian Dodo SAN, OFR, a Knight of St. Gregory a lawyer with over 35 years of post-call experience, is reputed to have many stains attached to his name.

This is despite handling several high-profile cases without winning any due to his corrupt practices.

Dodo was a former Taraba State 2023 governorship aspirant who was rejected by TY Danjuma and the generality of Taraba’s.

Dodo got 30 billion Naira vote bribe for the arms of the judiciary, The Lower Court, Appeal Court and the Supreme court.

Each was negotiated to get 10 Billion Naira to buy Judgements and frustrate cases in favour of the undocumented illiterate now being wrongly paraded as Delta State Governor elected.

Also in Dodo's Gang of notorious men is his brother In-law who he installed as President of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, Justice Benedict Bakwaph Kanyip.

Recall that in February 2016, Dodo was interrogated for eight hours by agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the notorious Halliburton scam and that Mr Dodo received $4.5 million through his legal firm, DD Dodo and Co., from multinational companies connected to the Halliburton bribery scandal using the false cover of legal services.
