No to N1000 Vehicle Proof Of Ownership Levy

For once, we thought that President Bola Tinubu was on a mission to save the common Nigerians, little did we comprehend the inhuman antics of taking from the poor to enrich the cronies.

It came to me as a shock that, private and commercial motorists are to pay a N1, 000 fee for proof of ownership certificates. Hitherto, the document was issued for free to buyers of new vehicles by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC). The new fee is an additional charge besides payment for vehicle particulars and registration.

This is another policy of wickedness, inhumanity and total lock of compassion for struggling Nigerians. We appeal to Mr President to abort the mission of harvesting what the government did sow in the common Nigerian.

We expect President Tinubu to  commence an aggressive reduction of the cost of governance that is hindering the country's economic growth and stability.

Nigerians are not conquered people they deserve some basic provisions from government, not senseless taxations. 

There is no need for a Proof of Ownership Certificate. The N1k being imposed on motorists is unacceptable, ridiculous, and wicked; It's a big no to exploitation.
