The incoming local government chairman in Uvwie Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Timmy Ukwade has extended new year greetings to the people

In a new year message on Monday. Chief Timmy Ukwade charged the people to embrace peace, unity and collaborate towards a better Uvwie. 

“As we welcome the New Year, let us unite in our commitment to progress, prosperity, and unity
May this year be filled with collaboration, resilience, and positive transformation for Uvwie. “As we begin this year, 2024, we look back with gratitude to God for the gift of life and the possibility of today; a new year full of hope and glorious realities for us. “Together, we can build a brighter future for our dear Local Government Area.

The late Pa Joseph Obruch Umukoro Omeka, AKA Mighty Sparrow, will be laid to rest in his hometown of Enwhe, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State on Saturday, August 10th 2024. According to a statement released by the son Comrade Steven Luke, AkA No Jobman for Governor, the proceedings will commence with service of song at his resident in Ugbolokposo town in Uvwie local government area on Thursday, August 8th, 2024, at 4 pm.
