Delta State Commissioner Of Health Dr Joseph Onojaeme AKA Commissioner Of Mosquitoes And Malaria, Olomoro Community Send Their Greetings

The Convener of Village Boys movement for Obi, Delta State branch Comrade Steven Luke has blast the Commissioner of Health, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme, popularly called “Commissioner of Mosquitoes” by angry residents over the poor condition of Olomoro General Hospital in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Comrade Steven Luke who was with newsmen stated that, despite several claims by the Delta State Ministry of Health about ongoing healthcare reforms and renovation of health centres across the state, the condition of Olomoro General Hospital continues to raise serious concerns among community members. 

Residents have lamented that the hospital environment has been overtaken by overgrown weeds, dirty surroundings, and mosquito infestation, making the facility uncomfortable for patients and health workers. Many believe the government has neglected the hospital despite public promises of healthcare improvements across Delta State.

Dr. Joseph Onojaeme currently serves as the Commissioner for Health in Delta State under Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

Speaking with newsmen in , Comrade Steven Luke dismissed the group’s claim that they would deliver 2.7 million votes for the ruling party, , in Delta State during the 2027 elections.
