COMRADE STEVEN LUKE ISSUES STRONG WARNING TO IDU YOUTH WING: JOEL EMENI MUST APOLOGIZE TO ISOKO YOUTHS AND RESPECT HIS IMPEACHMENT

The Spokesperson of the Human and Peoples' Rights Advocate of the Niger Delta, Comrade Steven Luke, has issued a strong warning to the Isoko Development Union (IDU) Youth Wing, insisting that the impeached president, Comrade Joel Ifoghale Emeni, must tender an unreserved apology to the entire Isoko youth community and refrain from interfering in the activities of the youth wing.

Comrade Steven Luke, who made this position known while interacting with some Isoko youths in Irri Town, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, maintained that the impeachment of Joel Emeni should serve as a clear reminder that leadership is a responsibility that demands accountability, discipline, transparency, and respect for the people.

According to Comrade Steven Luke, Isoko youths deserve responsible leadership built on integrity and genuine commitment to the development of Isoko Nation, not endless controversy or attempts to regain relevance after losing the mandate to lead.


He insisted that Joel Emeni must accept the outcome of the impeachment, respect the decision of the appropriate authorities, and allow the new IDU Youth Wing leadership to carry out its responsibilities without unnecessary interference.

He questioned how a leader entrusted with public or organizational funds could allegedly engage in questionable spending without considering the consequences for the organization and the people whose interests he was elected to protect. He called on the appropriate authorities to demand accountability and establish the facts surrounding the financial allegations.
